Pain, especially tooth pain, can be debilitating. Fortunately, there are over-the-counter medications that can help mild to severe tooth pain until you’re able to see the dentist. Many patients don’t know they can take ibuprofen (brand name Advil) and APAP (brand name Tylenol) together. Taking these medications together can help stop your pain when taking one or the other isn’t enough. Please read all contraindications and warnings on over-the-counter medications before use.
